HOW ROUTEEFF WORKS
Build a run, choose how RouteEff should order it, and head out with one clear next step at a time.
Name the run and add a fixed starting point and destination. Search for addresses or use your current location when you choose.
Add up to ten places. Set the time you expect to spend at each stop, or insert a breather between tasks.
Keep your exact order or let RouteEff arrange the middle stops for the fastest traffic-aware route. Your start and finish stay fixed.
Check the map, order, estimated drive time, distance, and arrival times. Save the plan when it feels right.
Full-screen guidance stays inside RouteEff with voice directions, route overview, direction-following camera, north-up view, and live progress. Google Maps remains available as a fallback.
Mark stops complete as you go. For a team run, assign stops manually or balance them between teammates and follow shared progress.
ROUTE CHOICES
RouteEff can reorder the middle stops using current traffic estimates. Your starting point and final destination stay fixed.
Use the sequence you entered. This works well when appointments, access windows, or priorities matter more than drive time.
Tip: Add realistic service and break times before calculating. They shift later arrival estimates and make the day easier to judge.
TEAM RUNS
Create a team, invite people you trust, and share a run. The owner can assign each stop manually or distribute stops evenly. Everyone sees assignments, planned ETAs, and completed stops.
PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY
Precise foreground location is required for in-app turn-by-turn guidance and can set your starting point. RouteEff does not request background location.
Optional alerts can show team updates and useful actions. Turn them off anytime in RouteEff settings or Android settings.
Crash diagnostics are opt-in. RouteEff does not place passwords, reset links, or route coordinates in diagnostic events.
Export a plan as a validated RouteEff file or use Android’s share sheet. Review the stops before sending because a shared plan can contain locations.
COMMON FIXES
Check your connection and retry once. If the popup was closed or blocked, use email sign-in. Never create a second account just to get around a sign-in problem.
Open account recovery and request a fresh link. If you originally used Google, try Google sign-in first.
Confirm you are online, check the address, and try again. RouteEff limits expensive map requests to protect the free service, so a daily service limit may occasionally apply.
Refresh the route before leaving and check the time entered at each stop. Traffic and real road conditions can change after a plan is calculated.
Use the secure support form. Include the app version, device model, what you tried, and what happened. Never include a password or reset link.
WHAT’S NEW
RouteEff now plans a multi-stop route with one Google Routes request, safely reuses recent identical searches and routes, and avoids unnecessary cloud-plan refreshes. Full-screen guidance checks precise location before starting and keeps the route overview, direction-following camera, north-up control, progress, and voice guidance inside RouteEff.
Testers should report unexpected routing, sign-in, layout, location, or notification behavior through the secure support form.
Guest plans stay on your device. When you sign in, your plans are stored with your account in Firebase so they follow you between devices. Live routing sends stop coordinates through our service to Google Maps. Team members can see shared plans and assignments. Firebase handles identity and team data. Foreground location and notifications are optional; diagnostics are opt-in. We do not request Gmail inbox access or background location.
Support tickets store your account ID, verified email, message, status, and optional app and device details in Firebase. Only you and RouteEff’s administrator can retrieve them. Ticket alerts contain no message or email content. This site has no advertising or analytics scripts.
In RouteEff, open You → Delete account for immediate self-service deletion. Transfer ownership of active teams first; recent sign-in may be required. The service removes your profile, notification token, feedback, support tickets, team memberships, cloud plans, Firebase identity, and local plans.
Without the app, submit a secure data deletion ticket while signed in. We use your verified account identity, never a password, to process the request. Shared team records and anonymous operational aggregates may remain without an account profile.
